Customary Dress

Some candidates are not able to follow the dress code because of their religious beliefs. The Delhi High Court provided relief to some participants. They have to arrive an hour ago to the exam centre to check them properly.

For Sikhs

During the 2025 NEET UG exam, Sikhs are allowed to wear traditional kirpans and karas. They must have to choose the customary dress while filling the application form.

For Muslim Girls

Muslim girls are allowed to wear traditional burqa during the NEET UG exam 2025. When completing the application, they must select the traditional clothes.

Items to Carry

  • Printout of the admit card for NEET UG 2025 with a passport-size photo fixed in it (same as the photo used while filling application form)
  • A passport-size photo for the attendance sheet
  • Valid Id proof
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • A colored postcard image (four inches by six inches) had been attached to the proforma.

Items not allowed

At exam centers only a limited number of items are allowed. Candidates can check the list below of items which are not allowed to carry in the exam center with them.

  1. Stationary: Textual materials (printed or handwritten), pieces of paper, geometry or pencil box, plastic pouch, calculators, pens, scales, writing pads, pen drives, erasers, log tables, electronic pens, scanners, etc.
  2. Electronic Items: Wellness bands, cell phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones and cell phones, among other gadgets.
  3. Eatables: Food items opened or packed, water bottles etc.
  4. Bags: Bags or Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap etc.
  5. Accessories: Ornaments or metallic items such as watches, wristwatches, bracelets, cameras, etc.
  6. Miscellaneous: Any other thing that has the possibility to harm the discipline of the exam such as communication devices like microchips, cameras, blue tooth devices etc.

  1. Do not carry prohibited items: Textual materials (printed or handwritten), pieces of paper, geometry or pencil boxes, plastic pouches, calculators, pens, scales, writing pads, pen drives, erasers, log tables, electronic pens/scanners and other electronic devices.
